Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-Libertyville

The beds are a little bit more firm than I personally prefer but was a great stay like always. And the staff was very friendly and courteous.

Great experience. The rooms are clean, and they smell nice. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond for us. We were there for my grandson who was graduating from the Navy bootcamp. During the hustle and bustle of us getting ready, I lost my ticket. We called the hotel and asked them to check our room for the ticket and sure enough it was. We had no time to turn back we would be late, so we contacted the hotel again and asked when the next shuttle would be headed our way. Thankfully, it was going to be headed our way in 5 minutes. The shuttle driver delivered my ticket to me and saved the day. If I go back to the area and need a hotel, I will book with them again.

Front desk manager and counter person were fantastic and accommodating. Hotel is nice and clean. Standard Hampton Inn but with top notch employees. Would recommend staying here for sure!

The Staff was great! Even suggesting new things to try in the area since we had some time to kill. Breakfast options were really good as well and actually tasty. Plenty of pillows in the rooms and wasnt a problem to get extra towels and blankets since we were also using the pull out sofa

The girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay.. everything wa impeccable.. friendly professional staff ( the only small issue was not having adjoining / connecting rooms like Nathan from Hilton had promised) other than that great breakfast and friendly staff!! A Hidden Gem! We had an amazing experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Libertyville for our wedding weekend! Teresita did an incredible job managing our room block, shuttle requests, and endless questions, while Sabrina and the entire team were so friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. Our guests loved how spotless and spacious the rooms were, and the pool and hot tub were a great bonus. Even though our wedding wasn’t hosted here, most of our party stayed and got ready at the hotel for our Independence Grove wedding. A true hidden gem with exceptional service, we can’t wait to stay again!

4.5 star overall for hitel in this class. Price about same as many but on higher end of range, but get a lot more for a little more $. We had a club VBalltournament 4min away at Sky High so location was a 10/10. Paid 162 out the door for a Sat night (Valentine's Day no less), so not terrible. King suite with pull out full couch room- very nive overall, spacious, bar sink, fridge, coffee and tea, nice walk in shower with separate sink area. Only knock against room was bed a bit on firmer side but not a rock, 6.5-7/10 with 10 being firm...i am side sleeper and was able to do so. Our room 202 had an annoying heater/ac unit that kept clicking when cycled on and off every minute or so- told front desk when we left as didn't turn on till bedtime and only stayed 1 night. Decent smart TV with apps loaded (Netflix, Pluto, HBOMax, and coukd add/search for others) and accessible HDMI and USB slot as well as composite (which i hooked my portable dvd player to and could access inputs via remote- I know, I'm old school). Pool= awesome as decent size for a dozen peiple at once and WARM/HEATED. I am a guy who wears a 2-3mil wetsuit shorts and vest in 80 degree pools and would guess temps were mid 80's so none needed. Hot tub was nice/clean and could fit4-5. Plenty of towels and chair/table areas, and bathrroms had showers to rinse off chlorine Exercise room. Didn't get to it but peaked in thru hallway window- decent small size with plenty of aerobic options and i think weight machine too. Ice maker on each floor Parking was plentiful Got 2 bottled waters on check in (not sure if all or just hilton members get this) Free Hot Breakfast. Great coffee and tea options. Had 2% and almond milk plus half and half and FVanilla. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and make your own waffles with blueberry as batter option too. Ykugart, apples/bananas/oranges; cereal, granola, hot plain oatmeal with a fixins tray of sliced almonds and dried fruit. Yoplait yogurt (2 flavors); multiple bakery items (fresh blueberry muffines, blueberry scones, white bread, wheat breat, bagels- jelly jam honey peanut butter, cream cheese. Plenty of syrup options and whipped cream cor waffles too. Apple juice, OJ, Blueberry acai pomegranate infused water to drink. Probably forgetting a few items but there should be something for everyone. Overall I would stay again and no regrets. I looked through 5 or 6 similar nearby hotels in this class and while many offered some or all of the amenities here, the reviews of this place seemed spot on and some of other places reviews all had issues of 1 kind or another (pool only open seasonally or NOT really "heated" as claimed, limited breakfast or not hot itmes/not included. Gurnee area had similar decent options but for nearly same price- this checked every box and super close for our needs. Easy drive from MKE.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Stay — Truly Above and Beyond Hilton Standards I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn in Libertyville, Illinois, and I have to say—this property delivers superlative service on every level. From the moment I arrived, the experience far exceeded even the already high expectations I associate with the Hilton brand. The rooms were spotlessly clean, fresh, and exceptionally well-maintained. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes real pride in their work, and it made my stay feel comfortable and cared for in every way. The staff was outstanding, and two people in particular deserve special mention. Leah at the front desk provided excellent customer service—warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. And the manager, Sabrina Maganan, sets the tone for the entire hotel. Her leadership, attention to detail, and genuine care for the guest experience truly shine. She made me feel valued, welcomed, and appreciated from start to finish. This location is a franchise, but it consistently goes above and beyond even Hilton’s own standards. The level of service and hospitality here easily outshines many corporate-managed properties. I had just come from another Hampton Inn (which I will not name), and the difference was night and day. Libertyville restored my confidence in the brand. If you’re traveling through the area—whether for business, family, leisure or staying here to be present for your first grandchild to be born, do yourself a favor and stay here. It was perfect from check-in to check-out, and I will absolutely return. Highly, highly recommended.
